Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end funding operations, including client deposits, withdrawals, and internal transfers
- Develop and implement funding strategies to optimize transaction success rates, processing times, and cost efficiency
- Oversee relationships with PSPs, banks, and alternative payment methods to ensure smooth operations and service quality
- Monitor daily funding activities, ensuring timely execution and adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Establish and enforce controls to mitigate risks related to fraud, chargebacks, and payment failures
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of client funds across trading platforms, payment systems, and bank accounts
- Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, Risk, and IT teams to align funding processes with business and regulatory requirements
- Analyze funding performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management, identifying trends and improvement opportunities
- Ensure compliance with global regulatory standards, including AML, KYC, and payment regulations
- Handle escalations related to payment issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution
- Optimize client payment experience by introducing innovative and region-specific payment solutions
- Develop and maintain internal procedures, policies, and operational manuals related to funding operations
- Manage, mentor, and develop the funding team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in payments, funding, treasury, or financial operations within fintech/forex
- Previous experience in a managerial or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of payment ecosystems, including PSPs, banking systems, card acquiring, SEPA, and international transfers
- Solid understanding of reconciliation processes, transaction monitoring, and financial controls
- Good knowledge of AML/KYC requirements and regulatory frameworks
- Experience working with multiple currencies and international payment flows
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); additional languages will be considered an advantage
- Advanced computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel and other financial systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
