Job Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines to process trading, market, and transactional data
• Develop and optimize data ingestion from trading platforms (MT4/MT5, FIX APIs)
• Manage Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Data Lake for efficient data storage
• Implement real-time data streaming using Azure Event Hubs & Stream Analytics
• Work closely with analysts to ensure data availability
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Optimize SQL and big data queries for performance
• Collaborate with cloud engineers to scale data infrastructure

Job Requirements

• A university degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer (preferably on brokerage firm, or fintech)
• Strong experience with Azure Cloud Services (Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Event Hubs, SQL DB, Data Lake)
• Expertise in ETL development and data pipeline automation
• Experience handling high-frequency, real-time financial data
• Strong skills in SQL, Python
• Familiarity with trading data structures (ticks, orders, positions, liquidity feeds)
• Understanding of FIX protocol, WebSockets, and API integrations
