I am currently supporting a well-established international education group in Cyprus with the recruitment of Teaching Assistant for their growing team in Limassol. The roles offer an exciting opportunity to join a professional and nurturing educational environment, with the organisation expanding its Early Years provision through the opening of a new setting in September 2026.
Job Responsibilities
- Work under the supervision and direction of the Early Years Practitioner and/or Kindergarten Teacher to support the care, wellbeing and development of children.
- Assist in ensuring the safety and supervision of children at all times.
- Support the development of warm, positive and trusting relationships to promote secure attachments.
- Assist in providing high-quality care that meets the individual needs of each child.
- Support children with personal care routines, including toileting, nappy changing, handwashing and mealtimes, where required.
- Assist in establishing consistent routines that promote healthy habits, independence and self-help skills.
- Prepare and maintain the classroom environment, including setting up activities and tidying resources.
- Provide administrative and clerical support, including preparing resources, where needed.
- Adhere to all school policies and procedures, including safeguarding, health and safety and data protection.
- Promote the school in a positive manner within the wider community.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the school management.
Job Requirements
- Excellent command of the English language and fluency in Greek are essential.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience working with children aged 0-3 would be an advantage.
Package
- Working hours: 7:15 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- Fixed afternoon shift: One afternoon shift per week until 6:00 p.m., included in the regular schedule.
